Revealing My Pretty new look :D muha you must have find me getting rounder each time u visit my blog coz i havent been exercising at all besides walking up and down the stairs in school and from my bus stop to my place.. *does that even be considered exercising?* i dont know :X and all the feasting every week with my relatives.. oh man.. btw my parents are outoftown.. lol both of them went to US for seminar and coz i dont have license i cant drive my mum's car parked downstairs :( gg to get it soon 14-05-2008 will be the day.. haha

As if last week's feasting wasnt enough.. my relatives celebrated my grandma's 84th bday today.. and here i am sitting in front of my laptop blogging away with my big stomach.. BURRP i only managed to get this two fotos coz the rest of the food is like shared de and i dont wanna be like snapping pictures of every dish.. looks stupid leh.. muha but i like this 2 dishes most.. muha LOBSTER AND CRAB.. i just have a soft spot for seafood man.. SLURRP check out the humongous lobster.. it's one person's share.. think it's baked or something but i requested to my uncle that i wanna cheese one NEXT TIME ROUND.. which is 2 months later..muha! lol and the fat claw of the crab.. so fleshy and fresh.. i cant describe it with words.. muha absolutely GOOD. sorry.. short of vocab :X jumbo is good..


Before dinner.. met with my ah prok to buy some stuff and shop arnd a little and i stumbled upon this fab shoe shop.. lol the shoes there are like WOO HOO!!!!! i felt like buying every single pair la.. i wanna be like the phillipines ex- president's wife who had like 100 pairs of shoes man.. like so nice la everyday can wear different pair of shoes to match your clothings.. muha gg back soon.. anyways the shop is located at wisma there.. called 'Schu'.. really like it very much and the prices of the shoes i find them reasonable.. maybe slightly more expensive then C&K la but i still find it affordable.. hehe i got this pair at $43.90.. if i had went with someone else and not ah prok i would have gotten 3 pairs or more la.. i really like the shoe and my topshop bag ah prok *hint hint* or the billabong de.. >_< muack

Take a breather

i've finished all my observations for my practicum.. as if i'm like rushing train or something.. haha told my nie sup that i wanna cross over and i really hope that i do.. Keep me in your prayers okie :)

i've changed my hairstyle again.. haha no more curly style korean liao.. lol ah-lor-si say he cant recognise me.. lol imagine the magic my $22 dollar hairdresser can do :)if u wanna see my new hairstyle then arrange for meetup la.. muha :X

Sometime ago..

THIS WAS WHAT I FOUND WHEN I TOOK OUT MY CAI XIN FROM THE FRIDGE BOUGHT ONE WEEK AGO!!!!!!!! this caterpillar actually survived the coldness in my fridge and aft i washed the vegs ( not knowing that it was there) it still clung on to the stem of the veg.. Man was i grossed out!


And i kept it in a plastic container and it ate and ate and ate, shit and shit and shit.. it did nothing but eat and shit.. but in the end it died in it's own shit.. so sad right coz i dint know that it eats sooooooooo quickly and i had to wait for the next day to bring it it's food.. sorry catty R.I.P

Hung out with the girls after so long man.. haha sats are usually time for me and ah-lor-si so we hadnt had much time to gather.. heh so really enjoyed myself talking crap and laughing our heads off at Harry's @ railmail.. so cool right my house here *shy*

Sunday

Went to ****** ong and ***** teo's wedding on sun @swissotel and it's my first time attending a wedding there and it's not the usual kind of wedding food and wedding program that i got.. haha i saw a thousand and one artiste la.. all singapore de unfortunately.. if got hong kong stars i would surely scream and yell lol.. heh i saw john leong, taufik, hossan leong, patricia mok.. yadah yadah yadah.. maybe u name the person he's there too.. lol one of my niece was like soooooo excited to see them and went arnd taking fotos.. but for me, i was more interested in the food they would serve.. aha and i wasnt disappointed, but not impressed either.. heh maybe i dont really like this type of cuisine ba.. i prefer seafood cooked in spicy chilli style.. slurrp :P
We only had 6 dishes altogether but i guess it was enough... yup i saw randall and melody behaving itimately.. are they a couple? lol and hossan leong announced that he is married la.. woa lao but he is one talented guy man.. heh :)
Appetizer.. lol the temp in the ballroom was so low that the small butter cubes on the table werent even on the verge of melting man.. haha so dish one was BREAD!! and we thought chiam liao better gobble up if not sure die of hunger de.. muha but the bread is high class bread la.. we got a good seat coz relative mah.. first table in front of stage.. muha


cold dish- smoked duck ( 1pc) tempura prawn ( a lil' soggy ) Lobster meat with prawn roe.. horridly good.. :D i guess this kind of high crass food always come in small portions.. heh and the mango salsa with pomegranate.. i like zangy feel :)


herbal chicken broth with some wanton with ginger inside and check out that white lump of flesh there.. it's alaska king crab!!!!! haha expensive leh.. :X not bad not bad


scallop with asparagus the scallop is gigantic not those kind of sizes we eat at restaurants man.. i think up to twice the size.. lol not bad and the star of the show is the plain looking yam puff there u see! it has got goose liver in it dude! goosey liver.. ultra nice.. imagine greedy me who always gobble up food, when it came to this yam puff i actually cut it into 4 pieces and slowly devoured it.. lol delicious.. haha


Whole cod fish fillet.. the fish tasted a bit fatty but i like the sauce that went with it.. and it had pumpkin sauce too.. very special i like.. :)


Abalone fried rice.. nothing special about it.. except the abalone inside and till now we're too full to even finish the rice.. imagine hearing about rising rice prices and here we were wasting rice :(


Lastly.. dessert.. vanilla red bean ice cream with steamed custard with white fungus,bird nest and lotus.. slurrp a tasty dessert to end off everything but not too sweet also.. :D


They even had photographers gg round to help you take pictures and u could get the fotos on the spot.. so they can advertise also la.. heh overall rating for the wedding : 8/10 Maybe i should do something similar for my wedding next time also.. i dont really like those typical chinese wedding style de leh.. heh see how next time if i have the time and effort to think of all these pattern pattern

Real Joy

I found my real Joy.. and believe it or not it's --- teaching. i really enjoy myself having taking up this position to teach and to educate. it's definitely something one thousand times better than a 8 to 5 job.. i may be slogging my life out to do out my lesson plans now at this hour but when i deliver my lesson i just feel this sense of.. i dont know, goodness perhaps.. although i'm super shagged out everyday i come back from school, i still enjoy myself.. it's like a nicey feeling.. something i cant really put into words.. though i see most of my teachers hating to come to work and stuff coz of the exrta admin stuff like that, i just Thank God that for my practicum i dont have to endure all the #$#($&Y^ haha.. yep i just had this overwhelming feeling during this period of my practicum.. and i thank God for giving me this chance to be a teacher, Thank God for withdrawing me from SIM, letting me do something i'm best at, that is to talk loudly :X i talk so loud that my p3 kids have to close their ears when i'm talking near them.. *gasps* haha so just.. JOIN THE EDUCATORS.. haha i sound so like an advertisement for MOE.. maybe they should consider paying me for this entry.. haha ok it's now back to Lesson Planning (LP)
