After reading xx's sis's blog on the restaurant that she patronised recently, i decided to give it a try with ah huat.. well i can say it's a pleasant place to be. The food over there is average only.. not particularly delicious.. maybe some old old restaurant that has been there for over a decade.. Bt Timah has got one such family restaurant too.. and i think there serves better food also.. haha:X my chicky chop was a tad too salty but i loved the white cream sauce that went with it.. out of 10 maybe i will give 6. the atmosphere is good, service is alright, food is so so, price is slightly above average.. think it's more worth to go for lunch.. set lunch seems cheaper.. haha :) After dinner we went over to suntec to catch the movie "vantage point" *ahem* seriously the show is a bit Getalife coz it just keeps repeating the same part over and over again until i felt irritated la.. heh hard to describe what exactly happened so u gotta go catch the show yourself to see it..rating 5/10 heh bought myself a new hp pouch for $3.90 and a necklance for $23.. actually i wanted to get another bucket bag for $16 but ah huat dont let me leh.. :( now i miss the bag already.. nvm ah huat u better buy me something from thailand.. muha hopefully the trip to langkawi in july can come true okie.. yup.. that's all pictures for now :D

the atmosphere at the restaurant was quite romantic.. got candle light somemore.. *_* good to part-tor everyone eats damn quietly la. the moment me and ah huat went in everyone stared at us.. tsk tsk not like we made a lot of noise or what leh.. it's so quiet until my ah huat almost fell asleep. woa lao i was so #&$)#^$(& when he told me that la.. arrgh

Easter Sunday

This long weekend was indeed LooOOooong enough for me.. i had so many lesson plans to rush just coz during the weekdays i was doing LP for other lessons that i couldnt carry out.. seriously spending so much doing and planning stuff, in the end all disrupted.. argh ytd was even worst.. i accidentally deleted the LP that i had spent so much time on.. IN THE END, redo everything woa lao i was super pissed with myself.. but what to do man :( then i went into my room and i received a notification sms saying that march i'll be having 0.5months bonus!!!!! muha better than nothing la so i just felt much better and completed my LP at 2am.. yawn today, i was helping some prof from NUS to do a survey at sim lim sq.. damn jialat shun by lots of ppl, faced some rejections but saw for myself some golden tortoise man *shy* there was this guy (who look quite cute) 30 yrs old, earning >14,000 per month.. seriously i was salivating when i saw him.. haha and he was alone.. possibly SINGLE but well, think i wont see him again so no point thinking about it.. lol so i was officially research assistant for the day earning $20 an hour SHIOK right? haha :X then i went with my sis to splurge at bugis. bought a top from Fox for $26 and another top at topshop for $43.. tsk tsk almost the whole pay is gone la.. muha but nvm happy is good enough already. Dinner, we met up with our parents at queenstown for the claypot rice, and i was thinking if i'll meet Jo (aloy's sis) and so coincidental, i actually did and the best part? they sat in front of my parents' table.. muha aft dinner me, my sis and my bro went to ntuc to buy newspaper and we had the horror of our life.. the place was infested with those kind of "shui wen" they were all swarming arnd the lights.. and they formed a shape of a bee hive.. woa lao ey it's really damn sick.. (having goosebumps now as i type) Eeewww and the bugs were swarming arnd the inside of the NTUC and the cashiers were like just standing there and being attacked by the bugs.. so ke lian :( hope some scientist will invent those kind of light with "zapper" de so when the insects fly close to the light they will "ZZZzz" and zap them to death.. i hate bugs :( happening weekend and monday gg to have obs by my NSC.. hope everything will be fine and the students will be excited about my lesson i've painstakingly planned for them ha! have a great week ahead :)

Part I
I really thank God for the rain this few days.. If the escaped terrorist selemat is somewhere hiding in the forest, i hope that the rain God sent is gg to help the singapore police catch him.. imagine being in and out of the rain for so many days.. even robot will turn rusty what more a mere man.. hope he will fall sick, fever, flu, body ache then the singapore police can catch up with him.. but that's the most ideal way it can happen.. what if someone is harbouring him man? i think it's the worst thing man.. arrgh ALL THANKS TO HIM, aloy has to work 6am-6pm then next day 6pm-6am so practically we wouldnt have any time to hang out.. arrgh it's super sian man.. everyday it's like that i'm feeling so sick of it already :( sigh.. and the malacca trip that is supposedly gg to take place in may MAY have to be cancelled if he is not caught by then.. the jams along the causeway, this and that.. sian just make me feel like staying home and nua..

Part II
I tried my hands on making shortbread the other day.. but it was a flop man :( the shortbread can be eaten, they are not burnt but it was more of the process that i was frustrated with.. i made the dough and everything and it was the STICKIEST dough in my whole life man.. the way i knead the dough and everything, i was sweating through man.. seriously like as if i had ran 2.4km like that.. tsk tsk and it was very sticky.. i was expecting something like cookie dough kind of texture but it was far more sticky than i thought and i had a hard time trying to use the cookie cutter to make shapes out of it.. :( i've nv felt so helpless in my kitchen be4, trying to bake something so simple.. i followed everything on the baking recipe but dont know what went wrong, so i made up my mind, i'm gg to attend baking classes.. dont want to waste my money on the ingredients but end up baking some stuff that no one wants to eat.. :( it's really a sad feeling man.. so i've roped in jing2 to join me see if there are any others who wanna join us.. probably starting the classes late may june that time..

Part III
Went out with sm and jing2 on tues.. really fun to meet up with my gfs.. maybe i hadnt do it for a long long time already.. most the time i'm hanging out with aloy, guess i've really missed out all the bitchy times we spent together :( i really need to know how to strike a balance, especially this time when aloy is busy in NS, perhaps i can spend more time with the others.. ( not making use of all of u okie.. :X) we went bugis for lunch that day.. and aft wanted to go to the museum for some arty farty exhibition but it was pouring like mad and so we had a change of plans, and went to PS instead.. heh we were embarrassing ourselves at spotlight (as usual) amused by all those funny headwear and other party stuff.. lol i hadnt gotten hold of the pics yet ( LIM SHUMIN!), shall upload them when i have em' k. i thank GOD for my friends.. to laugh at silly stuff and to talk about when i have problems.. :)

caught this movie ytd with aloy.. i think i was the only one in the theatre that bawled my eyes out man.. it's really a romantic movie man.. but very sad also.. certain parts even what the girl said to the guy when they were quarrelling sounds like me and aloy when we're quarrelling but at the end of the day, we're still together.. :D

After the movie we went to ice monster @PS for their famous mango dessert. seriously it's SLURRP haha i love mangoes.. above is a the egg crepe with mango, pork floss and lettuce wrapped up in a egg crepe. super nicey.. heh healthy also :X

Combination of both durian and mango. My advice: Not to eat this alone coz u will just die of heatiness the next day. haha so share :) very nice and delicious.. slurrpp.. this restaurant was introduced on TV and i went to try.. dint let us down.. muha basement of PS :D
